Routine appointments are generally 10 minutes. Please let reception know if you need a longer appointment, have multiple concerns, require a procedure, or are booking for a care plan or health assessment.
If your doctor is running behind, you are welcome to call ahead and check appointment timing.
Saturday appointments are subject to doctor availability. Phone lines close between 12:30pm and 1:30pm on weekdays.
Panaceum Karratha is a private billing practice. Payment is required on the day of service.
For Medicare-eligible services, Medicare claims can be submitted on the day so your rebate can be paid back into your nominated bank account.
For after-hours telehealth advice, call Healthdirect on 1800 022 222.
For urgent medical care outside opening hours, contact Karratha Health Campus on (08) 9144 777 or attend the Emergency Department.

Telehealth appointments may be available for some GP consultations where clinically appropriate.
Medicare support may be available for regular patients who have attended the practice within the last 12 months.
Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.
Late cancellations or missed appointments may incur a cancellation fee.
